Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth is featuring two photographic exhibitions:
Christina Fernandez's Multiple Exposures and Richard Avedon's In the American West
Los Angeles-based Fernandez focuses on explorations of labor, gender, migration and Mexican American identity. Avedon's classic photographic series commissioned by the Carter museum in 1979 showcases 13 black-and-white photographs. The Carter restaged Avedon's series in honor of the 100th anniversary of his birth.
