Toe Up Ribbed Cable Sock
Description
Taught By Trudie Simoson
Beginner Toe Up Sock Class is a fun way to make sure you have enough yarn for both socks.
You will do all the hard parts 1st and ending with a Ribbed stitch. This will also make the cuff part of the sock a little more flexible.
This runs for 3 Thursdays in a row.
Feb 2nd is the cast on and the foot.
Feb 9th is the heel and all the parts.
Feb 16 is the ribbed cable cuff.
What you will Learn
In this class you will start a new cast on, work all for part of the heal then pick up stitches to create the cuff of the sock . You will work with short rows and separating stitches between 3 needles while use the 4th as a working needle.
Must know how to knit, purl, cast off, cast on, short rows helpful as well as picking up stitches.
FIBER AND NEEDLES
420 yards of DK weight yarn
Using US 3 (3.25mm)
Other Materials Needed:
Scissors
Darning Needle
Pencil and paper for notes
